#AUSTRALIANS: Cricket Australia apologizes after posting "Racist" Tweet

Cricket Australia has apologized after its official Twitter feed published a photograph of four Sikh men dressed in Teletubbies costumes and asking: "Will the real Monty Panesar please stand up?"

The board was accused of "casual racism" after the image was tweeted to more than 250,000 followers on Wednesday before being hastily deleted.

The message was however, seen by thousands including journalist and famous cricket fan Piers Morgan who tweeted: "Will someone please get fired for this?"

The offensive tweet came just days after Cricket Australia sacked a commentator who introduced left-arm spinner Panesar to the field during a tour match in an Indian accent.

Panesar was recalled to the England side for the ongoing Ashes test series against Australia which has already sparked controversy.

The first test, won by Australia, was marked by a number of hostile encounters between players.
