India’s largest cellular service provider Bharti Airtel will meet global investors next week for its proposed $1 billion bond sale, the company announced Friday.
Barclays, Citibank and Deutsche Bank are among investment banks involved in facilitating the meetings for the benchmark bond sale.
A benchmark bond provides a standard against which the performance of other bonds can be measured.
The company – popular known as just ‘Airtel’ – is the world’s third largest mobile telecommunications company with 261 million subscribers in more than 20 countries.
