The family of British-Indian actress Jiah Khan, who was found hanged in her Mumbai apartment last week, apparently blaming her boyfriend Suraj Pancholi's infidelities for her decision to take her life.
Jiah's family is reportedly in the process of notarizing a copy of the letter to pass on to police investigators apparently wary of how the police would handle the original.
A police official told Headlines Today that the letter states: "You have cheated me. I trusted the relation. You didn't care about the relation. By the time you will be reading this letter, probably by then I won't be there in this world."
New York-born, England-raised Khan, 25, was found hanged in her apartment in the exclusive Juhu district of Mumbai on Monday by her mother and sister, returning back from a night out.
Friends and associates have since attempted to explain the reasons behind the tragedy, with some saying that Khan - who burst onto the business with her acclaimed role in 'Nishabd' in 2007 - was disillusioned with Bollywood after three years without work whilst others pointed to her strained relationship with Mr Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.
