Actress Priyanka Chopra has topped a list of "the most dangerous" Indian celebs in cyberspace, according to a survey by computer security firm McAfee.
The 'Zanjeer' beauty came ahead of superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and knocked out porn-star-turned-reality-TV-star-turned-actress Sunny Leone in the list of Bollywood celebrities that cybercriminals most use to hack into the computers of fans looking for information on their favourite actors.
“In India where celebrities enjoy demigod status, cybercriminals often use their names to lure people to sites which host malicious software designed to compromise personal details and disrupt devices,” McAfee India spokesperson Venkatasubrahmanyam s9knapur said.
According to the study, the key words most used alongside celebrity names resulting in malware installations were "Wall Paper", "Videos" and, perhaps unsurprisingly, "Nude Pictures".
Chopra, showed 79 infected search results, while SRK was at the second spot with 75 malicious sites, Salman ranked third, with 68 infected sites.
The top-10 list was rounded off by Saif Ali Khan, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Leone and Hrithik Roshan.
