An India-born executive has been placed in charge of some of Google Inc's fastest growing products in a move by the search engine giant's CEO Larry Page.
Sundar Pichai, who currently oversees Google's Chrome division, has been put in charge of products including maps, Google+, commerce as well as the company's core services of search and advertising which generate a bulk of the company's revenues.
